La technique de la boutonnière (buttonhole technique), moins populaire, consiste à créer un tunnel que l’on utilisera pour canuler la FAV [fistule artério-veineuse] à chaque séance de dialyse. Cette dernière technique diminuerait les douleurs liées au piquage, les échecs de canulation et la formation d’hématome.
